Whilst working and travelling throughout the European Union and the rest of the world for the past 35 years Dr Paul Quantock, Chairman and Managing Director of EU15 Ltd, recently became aware of the need for increased international training cooperation. Many educational institutions, especially in developing countries, expressed the desire to “partner” with education institutions in developed countries.

Recognising this need Dr. Paul Quantock, had the brainchild of creating a new organisational Division to facilitate international training cooperation.

The Foundation for Educational Partnerships (TFEP) was created in 2006 to facilitate and arrange training partnerships between educational institutions around the world.

With the financial support of UK Trade & Invest EU15, through its TFEP Division, is developing a targeted "Healthcare Training Support Programme" for India.

In order to implement this initiative TFEP, together with Education Consultants India (A Government of India Enterprise), is embarking on a comprehensive market research, contacting training institutions throughout the UK, USA and India to build a database of institutions willing to enter into International healthcare training partnerships.

The result of this exercise will be the production of a searchable "Healthcare Training Course Database" which will have its own dedicated website by September 2008 and a formalised Healthcare Training Support Programme.

TFEP facilitates the securing and developing, with Universities, required course curricula and also arranging content licensing arrangements and offers support to any training organisation, anywhere in the world, who is either offering training courses or is seeking out training courses.

TFEP is also the driving force of the "India Healthcare Training Think Tank". The Think-Tank was constituted to deliberate on issues related to Indian healthcare training and how the members can help improve existing training services by recommending actions to improve training programs in healthcare, such as Elderly care, Disability and child care.

The Chairman of the Foundation also acts as Joint Chairman of the Think Tank.
